Jo

My most memorable encounter on a doorstep...
the young couple who had just lost their new born child days before and who wanted to give £20 a month to help other kids who where suffering in India.

My epitaph...
She came, she tried, she stopped trying, she now rests in peace(s)

My role model...
Coco the Clown

My working ground...
love of self, love of other.

When I was a child I wanted to be...
a grown up.

My biggest regret...
nearly losing my child-like sense of delight and play

The quality I most admire in people...
authenticity

My patience is tried by...
the weather – it’s a national disgrace! (as a taxi driver once told me)

A book that changed me...
No Boundary by Ken Wilber. I read it when I was 19 and it started me off on my spiritual quest.

If I wasn't me I'd like to be...
a professional flamenco dancer. I've got the attitude but lack the rythmn! For me, it expresses the pain inherent in life and the sheer potency of the human spirit faced with it.

My favourite poem...
Wild Geese by Mary Oliver
